I'm Joshua James Amberson. I do the zine Basic Paper Airplane. Once upon a time, I ran a small publishing company called SSO Press that produced chapbooks, zines, handmade books, and broadsides. Now I slowly produce issues of BPA, co-run the Ms Valerie Park Distro, submit to compilation zines and magazines, record with bands (Letters being the main one), serve as perma-editor for all my zine and book-making friends, as well as a being a freelance editor and writer. I also wrote The Prince Zine and Growing Things: A Guide to Beginning Gardening and am an organizer for the 2013 Portland Zine Symposium.
