For those interested in zines as tools for social change, whether in terms of zine content itself, instituting zine collections in public libraries, teaching zine workshops, or other activities.
It was just a few kids who go to school there...from what I gathered from them there isnt too much of anything there. I definitely didnt run into any zinesters or any sort of zine community.
Whats up with this house you stopped at in Ashland? The reason I ask is because I'm moving there in a couple of weeks, and was wondering if there are more zinester folks around that area.
for those of us who get personal with our zines. stories about our lives, reflection, wisdom gained from personal experience, etc.
Sounds like a really awesome idea! I believe the Silent City Distro does something along the vein of a pop up/temporary space to sell zines and such. http://silentcity.wordpress.com/ithaca-zine/ they might be able to provide you with some resource...
