Queer Zines and Queer Zinesters

Are you a queer zinester (broadly defined, of course)? Do you write about your genderfucking, transitioning, same-and-other-gender lovin' experiences, or about queer and LBGTQ communities and cultures? If so, let's start talking about it.See More

Profile Information

I recently finished my first zine. It's called Peach, Plum, Pear and it's a perzine dealing with mental health issues including suicide and self-harm (it's been attacked with shiny little animal stickers, though, so I suppose that lightens the mood a little :P) There's also a where-to-start type guide to goth rock. I'll be honest, there's only one copy at the minute, but I'm hopefully going to the library to make some photocopies soon, if I'm feeling brave :)

Black and white, half-size, 26 pages, zigzag stitched by my lovely Bernina sewing machine hand-bound.. I had to print single-sided for the 2nd batch and my bernina wasn't happy to sew through them ): bummer
They're £1.00 each or trade me :)

Hi there Jenny, I really like the look of 'Peach, Plum, Pear' and was wondering if you'd like to trade for my zine 'Awaiting An Epiphany' (there's a photo of it with more details in the description if you're interested)? If not that's totally okay, I'd love to buy a copy of your zine anyway :) let me know. Take care, Rachel xx
