a place for zinesters - writers and readers
I started out doing picture zines - 16 page with glossy covers and photocopied inside. I made line drawings, added a little text and after 4 of such zines I decided to move on to actual, 'real' zines that had a lot of text and cut and pasted stuff.
My perzine, DISCONCERTING was born. I usually make very few copies (around 10 or less) but may print more in future.
I have a preference for very, very text-heavy perzines that center on preferably, college life or from the point of view of a college student, or life in general, philosophical perzines... I'm not really into music, or other political sort of zines (unless you touch on libertarianism). Art/design zines are awesome, especially hand-drawn art but preferably thick and not comics.
