I make zines too!
I made my first zine aged 10, it was all about a possum which took up residence in the roof of our rural home, only my sister and mum read it, my dad couldn't read english.
The first love of my life introduced me to the real world of zines years later when he gave me a copy of Personality Liberation Front, then like Another Dentist Visit I started making my own zines to help me overcome depression.
My zine HopeWearsConcreteShoes ran for five years before i started a new zine Fish Lane.
I use zines as training tools for the young people i work with and run zine-making workshops for kids.
My latest zine is still on the computer, it's called 219BANK.
I'm starting to think i need to zine again, it's been a while:)
