Hiya,
I'm an upbeat teenager living in the UK. I have only recently gotten into zines although I have been involved with mail art for quite some time. I'm up for trades and finding penpals in the zine world. Just drop me a line if your interested!

Inspirations:Random - A 24 hour zine
The only zine I've written recently is a perzine for the 24 hour zine project. i'm really pleased with how its turned out. I pontificate on such light hearted topics as the beguilement of french manicure sets, my mums allotment obsession, the fun you can have with chopsticks and the 5 things Duke of edinborough taught me (electric fence any one?). Interwoven with this, hopefully humorous work, are short serious articles on Harry Potter and conventiallity is not morality.

I hope to expand my 24 hour zine idea into a 'proper' zine because I loved making it. I would also like to make a shot at mini zines.

Enjoy life folks!

Don't suppose you'd be interested in sending your zine for distro consideration? All the details at: www.marchingstars.co.uk

Sounds great, thanks! Yes, I have Paypal - my email address is blatant_blitheAThotmail.co.uk.

If you could send me £2.50 (£1.50 for issue 3, £1 for issue 4), I'll get them posted to you the next day! :)

oh dear. i don't have paypal, and i don't even know where i would exchange pounds... hmm... i think i'd like to go with the feedback. you can just send me whatever you like. a letter about yourself, or with feedback, would be nice, or someone else's zine, or a pretty postcard, or a drawing... i don't really care. i love getting things in the mail, anything you send will make me happy. if i can get your your address, i will send them as soon as i can!

first off i'm really happy you are interested in reading my zine!
i'm not really sure about prices, i never considered i might sell them. how about a buck for somewhere over the rainbow and 50 cents for each of the minizines.
issue one of sotr talks about what happened to me last january, including my trip to los angeles, a concert, a dream, and other things, and issue two includes journal entries about school and the right to make my own decisions as well as poetry and other anecdotes.
which one would you like? or both? or the minizines? how about i send you all four for two dollars.
i'm not sure if it is typical to charge for shipping. let's just say shipping is included.

The Adele Geras books are on my wish-list, but I've lost my manc library card (dunno if they'd have it anyway). It might be a while before I can read them. :S Are they slim books?

I've read other books related to the Trojan War - like Daught of Troy, and Firebrand, and various translations and copies of The Iliad and The Odyssey, lol (not to mention DVDs of the various film/TV adaptations, ack.)

Your ideas for the HP stuff all sound awesome, and I look forward to seeing whichever one you come up with! Any one of them would be great additions, although I'm slightly (only slightly) partial to the last one about voldemort's death anniversary!

Hello there! How are you? I just came across your page, and I'm interested in purchasing a copy of your zine! (and perhaps becoming penpals!) Well, that's all for now! Hope you have a great evening!
