Hey! I'm Elizabeth Rockett...I'm 19. Currently residing in Seattle, Washington but originally from Houston, Texas. Some random things about me: I'm A Feminist First, I'm utterly addicted to politics, When I take a good photo on my camera It totally gets me wet (I'm A Photographer!), I am a homo, I have a dog who I consider to be my baby,I'm An Aries, I love riding my bike, I recycle, I take public transportation instead of driving and my celebrity crush is totally Rachel Maddow of MSNBC (oh how i love her when she debates) oh and Im for sure Barack'n The Vote!

I make the zine Riot-GRRRLife, Its about all things riot-grrrl, queer culture and feminism.

I currently have three issues out, in each issue there is a cd review or band reviews or both! Information on feminist issues ranging from Comprehensive Sex Education, Plan B, Abortion and more. There are personal stories along with facts.

Its made for people who dont necessarily want pages and pages of writing details about each subject, but instead 4 or so pages about the subject at hand that is made so that you can get a laugh and have fun reading it but also stay informed and get the facts.

I got Invited To Obama's Inauguration, Can You Help Me Get There?

What are yr thoughts on proposition 8?

I'm working on issue four of Riot-GRRRLife.

Its going to be the hella political issue. I'm talking RNC protest stuff, Obama winning stuff, racism in America which will tie in with Obama winning, Proposition 8 and gay marriage stuff.

Working on Issue 4 of Riot-GRRRLife

I think this has been the hardest issue I've worked on to like actually work on.

I've been attempting to write about my experience protesting at the Republican National Convention. I want to write about all the f'd up stuff I saw but its so hard to explain. I have a very large art studio in my house, completely seperate from my bedroom and the rest of the house.it's set up for meetings with a nice table and chairs. And additional chairs can be scavenged. It's fairly centrally located in the UDist, like allegro. It's cozy, and we could use our kitchen to make warm drinks and vegan cookies and stuff. Maybe if everyone likes this and wants to keep meeting, it could be carousel locations. Stoked! Who else aside from stephanie do you know? I know a bunch of former zapp girls who would totally wanna be around.
