FREE is my latest zine and it covers light topics such as Atheism, Death, and Freedom. It has been inspired by my own views of life coupled with my readings of existentialism. As I am quite tired of corporations and individuals attempting to influence my choice - especially in the realm of what I purchase - I have chosen to keep my zine free from monetary cost, though, I imagine, an argument could be made that I am costing the reader their time. By my read it takes about 30 minutes cover to cover, which I believe to be a good use of time, especially if you consume your existence with television. FREE has the potential to make you think differently about your life and possibly help you to be more free!
I have distributed copies throughout my neighborhood, Northside, and San Francisco as I was recently there on holiday. If you would like a print copy, which is best, I would happily mail you one if you are comfortable with giving me your address - people are admittedly suspect these days. If this isn't your thing then I could email you a Pages or Word document, though something is really lost when it isn't tangible. Trees might argue that point. Lastly, if neither of those options work for you, you could try to find my work at places like Shake It, Scentiments, and Sidewinder but I don't know if they will be there or not.
If you are a zinester living near me, or not, I would like to make contact with you. I have considered the idea of a zine section at the Northside library, though I am unsure of their logistics and I think it would be worthwhile to bring in other zines than my own if we truly are going for a "section."
