Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows about any zines that touch on WWOOFing? World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. If you are unaware of what that is I will tell you :-) You basically work on somebody's farm and in exchange they house and feed you for free. I know there has to be a zine or two that tell some stories about WWOOFing. I may end up WWOOFing in about a year somewhere in Oregon... Thank you!See More

Hey sir! Welcome to Murfreesboro! I actually just moved away to a relatively zineless town, or else I would totally invite you over for zinemaking and refreshments. However, you should totally volunteer for the zinemaking workshop at next year's Southern Girls Rock & Roll Camp.
Yeah, I love the warm weather, though. Rent in Hollywood can vary, just like it does everywhere in the city, I think. I would check out NE, North Portland, and SE. If you hunt around long enough, you can usually find something pretty cheap.
And no, I don't regret moving here. I'll probably be here for awhile... I really like Portland.
Oh! And I don't think any of my zines are at the library. I need to work on that.. haha.
That's awesome. My attic is pretty spacious, but the ceilings are low, and it gets really cold in the winter and hot when it's warm. The last few days have been sort of sweltering. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in August.
I'm in NE, right outside the Hollywood district. And I'm pretty new to Portland, too. I guess I've been here for about 8 months now. Crazy.
