What I remember most fondly about the heyday of zines (pre-internet) was the great diversity of thought coupled with a lack of hatred. I remember opening my first copy of FF5 and being agog at all the weird and freaky stuff. I was immediately in love. I ran an underground Christian music and culture zine and often took strong positions on moral subjects. durand, not sure if you got my previous message. I collect zines and have a room dedicated to them (my office). Its hard getting a hold of these kind of things, not a lot of people held on to them. I was also involved in the christian underground scene in the mid-late 90's and published a death metal zine called Disentombed that ran six issues. Anyway, I am very interested in the late 80's, early 90's zine scene and would be interested in buying zines from you. my email is
