What do you guys think about this revised idea?

For the longest time I struggled to make a perzine that really captured the biggest aspects of my own life. I'd g through writing story after story but would never be satisfied with what I had. The problem was that I felt like I had no interconnecting theme or layout. I wanted more than a zine that talked about the downs and the ups and the immediacy in them. There was always something missing.

However, I now believe I've got it. I've been writing like a fiend, getting closer…

Have you ever realized that you have about 50 stories drafted, edited and written out completely on random scraps of paper that never make it to the actual production desk? And because they never do, your zine doesn't either?

I have.

It seems like I have the motivation to write and have lots of flavourful content for my zine, it's just the part of putting it together that stops me. And I really want to put it together! I have absolutely nothing…

Like Hi

Bonjour,

I am a new writer of zines. It took me quite a while to finally get a complete grasp on what I wished to write about, but alas! I have it!

My zine is a philosophical perzine. In other words: I'm writing a zine of philosophical content (whether it be my own theorizing or the great philosophers I read) which will be brought into relation of my own personal life. If curious, please look for it; Digested is it's name.

-----

If you are wondering why exactly I decided to take such a route with my writing, it is mostly influenced by philosophy being a huge part of my life. When going to university I thought I knew for sure that I wanted to become a psychiatrist, but I found the philosophy courses devouring my interest. Soon I found myself as a philosophy major in hopes of becoming a professor.

Hello all!I was just speaking with a friend about zines since she's pretty interested in them since I brought up the idea to her. Well, in conversation she asked if there were any zines on piercings where I could not give her a straight answer.I assume that there are but I do not know of any. Would you guys be able to indulge me in a few body modification zines? See More
