"I once traded with the guy who runs Black Cat Distro (in BC, Canada) and he valued my zines at $1 each, cause I sell by donation only, but valued his at $3 and $4 and so on, even though mine were much larger... About a year later I find out that…"

DLM replied to James N. Dawson's discussion Photocopy Machines---Viable for Personal Ownership?
"I used to own a Risograph _ think mimeograph _ and it was great. Un/fortunately it was rather cumbersome as it was only economical to print in runs of 75+, so I kept printing 80-100 copies of Zines and ended up with a great number of unsold zines in…"

Excuse me, can you please pass the priviledge

Hi.New to this place, but I'm old hat at zine/distro/etc.I'm looking for a copy of "Excuse Me, Can You Please Pass the Priviledge." I've bought the damn zine like 5 times, but each time the distro either doesn't have it in stock (and sends replacements instead) or just has closed down. Now it's been like 5-7 years since it was out, and most zine libraries that I've contacted either don't have it anymore or don't want to photocopy it for me. :(I'd love to trade for a good quality copy of it, and…See More

What's your e-mail? Our collective can be contacted at 1201collective@gmail.com.

We have four of our own titles: Random Acts of Ignorance (Simple diy), Thou Protest too much (A basic guide to protesting), Thou Protest too much #2 (Creative Protests), Did it Myself #1 (DIY) and then we have some classics we adapted into zine fromat, namely Rudolf Rocker and Peter Kropotkin.

The Santa Cruz Anarchist Convergence just ended and I have a lot of zines from other distros, I can send you links to sites with free Anarchist zines or if you'd like, I can trade you our collectives two DIY zines for something and I'll even throw in a couple of extra Anarchist zines

The only ones I see that you are offering are "I send my love" and "Don't Back Down." I'd be interested in any that you are trading... I'm trying to rebuild my zine library after it got pilfered... and I love all topics.

Personally, from your comment, "I am always looking for how-to manuals, anti-oppressive materials, activist/anarchist/feminist zines and whatnot. And no perzines or comics," I think you *might* like 10 Dirty Little Secrets, Little White Pill, and my mini zines. I would normally sell those for about $3-4... so whatever you think is good with me!

Send me your address, and here's mine:

Shannon Edgett
292 Normandie St.
Dieppe, NB E1A 1L7

BTW - I would love to see your library, but I doubt I'll be in Saskatoon any time soon!

Hi - sorry for lack of communication. We've never met. I sent the friend request after I saw your post on 'Let's Trade Zines', as I liked the sound of 'I Send My Love'. I'm new here, so am just getting my toes wet; I'm also moving house in the next few days, so have deliberately not been requesting trades, as it's going to be over a week until things are sorted enough for me to send anything. Having said that, if I have anything you're interested in, I would love to trade. My stuff is mostly DIY craft-based, though, so may not be your cup of tea... Get back to me, if you want to work something out.

Hey! I would be totally interested in doing a trade with you for you zine. I just posted a bunch of zines I have to trade in the "Let's Trade Zines" thread. They're also listed on my page. Let me know if you think there's enough there to make it worth your while!
