Cherry Bomb Comics is Melissa & Tui. Cherry Bomb is based in Auckland, New Zealand (though Melissa now lives in London, so there is a UK offshoot!).
We distro graphic novels, comix and zines made for, by and about women, queers, people of colour, punx and dissidents.
We also run workshops & discussions on comics & zines, and organise events, gigs & do stalls at zine fests, both in London & Auckland.
For about 4 years Cherry Bomb was a physical shop in Auckland, but once we began moving countries and changing our lives we decided to close the shop space. We now sell our wares on our online shop www.cherrybombcomics.co.nz/shop, and at zine fests & gigs.

The amazing zine library at 56a info shop, Elephant & Castle, London is being relaunched at the end of the month.

Alex Wrekk of "Stolen Sharpie Revolution" and "Brainscan" zine fame will be doing a reading at the 56a Infoshop next week! This is the last date on her UK "tour". Robb Roemershauser of Aboveground zine library in New Orleans will also be speaking with her - he lived through Hurricane Katrina, and was instrumental in opening the library soon after the disaster.
