On shyness, social anxiety, self-esteem, privilege, confidence, sharing your voice and struggling with adulthood.

Here. In My Head. #12 (40 pages, 1/4 sized): £1.00

Features writings on self-improvement and new year’s resolutions, plans for the future, misogyny in rock, identity, and developing a sense of self. Full colour cover.

 

Here. In My Head. #11: A 24-Hour Zine (24 pages, 8" x 3"): 50p

This was created for the 24 Hour Zine Thing, and features pieces on being creative, self-esteem and self-empowerment, contraception, minor annoyances, and small pleasures.

 

Here. In My Head. #10: The University Years (40 pages, 1/2 sized): £1.20

Inside, I write about living away from home, academia, making friends, the Student’s Union, and graduation.  It’s mostly a collection of stories about my experiences, but there’s also some practical advice for students and would-be students, and lots of lists. 

 

Here. In My Head. #9 (48 pages, 1/4 sized): £1.00

Inside, I write about technology, thealogy (goddess worship), common anti-feminist arguments, and being a graduate.  There's also some lists and similarly fluffy little things scattered throughout.

Here. In My Head. #8 (38 pages, 4.25" x 4.25"): £1.00
Written for the zine anthology published by Planned Parenthood of Northern New England. Inside, I write about blood, sex, abortion, religion, choice, shame, and growth. 

 

Here. In My Head. #7 / Your Pretty Face is Going Straight to Hell #14: (52 pages, 1/4 sized): £1.00

On being a shy girl, how to cope with the oppressive norms of feminine appearance, self-help advice, and personal development. Tukru writes about roller derby, Typical Grrls, her job, 2010 being a shitty year, and resolutions for 2011.
