I'm from Sydney, Australia, now living in New York City. A proud former key-holder to
PO Box 4, Sydney's Least Exclusive Zine Address (TM). Zines I have made include:
Drift, Secret Archives of the Recent Past, Aftermaths and most recently
Horace Andy & The Spanish Owls, with
Emma. Emma and I also created a crazy zine/postal art monster project thing in 2005/6 called
Post No Bills. We got to be such regulars at Kinkos that the staff were asking
us for help with the copiers. It was launched with fanfare, party games and cake at the National Young Writers' Festival, Newcastle, 2006. Copies of my zines are sometimes available through
Flying Machine distro, at PO Box 4.
I believe that typewriters, turntables, tea, appropriation and the Dewey Decimal System are the zinester's best friends. All my
other best friends have been made through making zines. It's true.
(
pssst. I also
blog.)
