Sometimes an adventurous spirit and an insatiable appetite for the the finer mysteries of life will lead you to another land, and sometimes its just what you gotta do. Maybe both reasons brought me to Japan, but one way or another I ended up here and decided to make a record of it in a daily comic diary called SunDogs. In my opinion there can never be too many ex-pat zines out there, nor zines from people who are married with kids, so even if its rubbish the premise is a treat, right? I will keep telling myself that.

I guess I am probably preaching to the choir on this one, but what happened to trading? Recently I have been met with a lot of people that dont want to trade their zines, and I can respect that I suppose. I am just confused...isnt that sort of what zines are all about? Is there some hidden wealth of money to be made in this and I just haven't been informed yet? As far as I have ever tried, even breaking even in the world of zines and comix is just an uphill battle. hidden agenda press could still exist if we get another garish zow comics put together, but for the moment nothing is happening
mike and john are still in the same house that we all werk't from
i don't think they're doing any comics at the moment, but john is still doing some amazing paintings, some of which can be seen on his myspace page
