We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Tweede Druk

This is the second printing of my two zines.

The first, Weerwoord, is a translation/reaction of several old English poems into Dutch. So, for example, from this:

THIS IS JUST TO SAY

I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox

and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast

Forgive me
they were delicious
so sweet
and so cold

- William Carlos Williams

I made this:

DAT JE EVEN WEET

dat je nu voor
het laatst
mijn fruit hebt
gestolen

omdat
ik jou en je
koelkast
uit huis zet

je spullen
staan op de stoeprand
tabee
en tot nooit

Things like that.

The second, Tussentijd, has three short stories, two in Dutch and one in English.
