Issue #2, Spring 12', "Race, Media, Music, Film"

This issue covers my experiences of being a feminist Mexican-American female growing up in southern white suburbia. Other topics range from fighting patriarchy within the Occupy Movement, the effects of media body standards, feminist film and band recommendations and more. It also features an interview with Nashville musician Lizzie Conner about her role as Co-Director of the Southern Girls Rock n’ Roll Camp, the ways in which activism and music can be one in the same and the rise of women in music.

It's $1 plus shipping or I trade. Message me or E-mail me at Riotgrrrl56@yahoo.com if interested!
