The familar variety store

Some of the zine photos are places that have a personal significance and this is one of them. I won't go into detail about why it has a personal significance but I will share a bit of cool trivia that I know about this particular variety store: The Canadian Indie rock band, Metric are featured in a photo where they are posing in front of this particular variety store. Honestly, I also thought it would make a good photo. It had to be taken quickly because of the woman on a cell phone that was kind of annoyed with me for getting in her way and taking a photo of the place she wanted to go into since she was clearly afraid of being an accidental addition to the photo and I didn't want her in the photo anyways.
