Dilettantes & heartless manipulators - Issues 1-4

These are the first four issues of my weekly zine entitled 'Dilettantes & heartless manipulators'. The idea is that it's an anti-review - writing about whatever else is going through my head whilst listening to a record/CD/tape/etc. This was done for two main reasons: 1, I wanted something to keep me writing and zine-ing on a regular basis, in the process getting better at impromptu prose, and 2, I'm a bit sick of reading reviews that don't put the listening of the music in the broader context of the life of the reviewer - so, on these zines, the music is mentioned on the back, and it'll rarely get featured in the zine... unless of course it manages to soak up my entire thought patters. Hmmmn... might be a bit of a contrived idea, but doing it weekly gives lots of scope for improvement and refinement in a really short timeframe.
