Devastating Pep Talks

More of a book than a zine. 19-page perfect-bound paperback. Color cover, b&w inside with photos of pretty, junky things (like on the cover) and kind of contemporary beat-style run on writings that are best experienced out loud. A good bedtime story for those of us for whom life is half mortal battle and half exhilarating train wreck, to mix some metaphors. Here's a preview:

Arm yourself with a clean conscience, the soft underside of it lies heaving in the sand, crab’s legs mindlessly moving in the sun, in praise or distress you can’t really tell.
