When you're trying to produce a quarterly jazz publication (in my case), it involves going out and interviewing many musicians at clubs and staying up-to-date with record releases. Although the releases and reviewing is accessible through the internet, interviewing--unless you're going to do it through e-mail, which I don't like too much--involves going out to clubs, buying at least one drink or…
