Share 'address book software?'

i once saw a movie (was it Ghost in the Machine?) where some serial killed found a digital address book, and then killed everyone in it, one by one.  For this reason I've never kept all my addresses in one place, and NEVER kept them in a digital form. But. I'm going to be moving in a few months, and need an easy way to keep track of all my penpals. So, I have a PC.  Anyone on here know some awe…
