Ahoy Zine Librarians! We've got a survey up at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/L578B6J to solicit feedback on the future of http://zinelibraries.info. If you've got a few minutes, please fill it out and let us know whatcha think!

Not a zine librarian (an Emerging Technology Librarian, actually), but a zine making librarian. I'm turning a selection of my season creep haiku into free, single page zines, distributed Melbourne's Sticky Institute and in PDF thru Scribd and season creep: http://seasoncreep.blogspot.com/2011/08/5811.html

Congrats on the Albuquerque Zinefest!  I wish I could go.  My brother lives there, so maybe next year...

Hey there!  I wanted to extend an invitation to all zine libraries!  On Sept 30-Oct. 2, we will be hosting the very first Albuquerque Zinefest!  It will be way super fun!  Make it out if you can, we're just getting it all planned out, but have some big (fun) ideas in the works, including a ZINE OLYMPICS!!  Yes!  We are also looking for people interested in presenting workshops or discussions!

Does anyone know of any lending library freeware to keep track of who has what and all that? What kind of system works for you? Maybe overcomplicating things? Log book, pen and pad? Currently the LV Zine Library is a read in-house only deal. I am thinking of changing that. Let me know what you think! :) Thanks!
Peace Love & Zines!

My "library" currently consists of one of my own zines, another zine I made about the space where my "library" (it's more like a small bookcase) is located, a few issues of Cometbus, and some anarchist zines my friends put together, as well as some propaganda and assorted books. I'd love to add any zines anyone has to donate! I co-run an all ages DIY art and music space in Fresno, CA and I'm willing to take just about any kind of zine; most kids here have never gotten the chance to read any, and I'd love to change that. E-mail me at thebeltower@gmail.com if you're interested.
