We are looking for zine donations, either ones that you have made or ones from your collection that you are no longer needing.

Hey everyone!  I work with a queer youth drop-in center and advocacy organization here in Vermont.  I'm going to be doing an ongoing zine group and was hoping for some donations to our zine library for youth to read and be inspired by.  I'm specifically looking for zines by queers (LGBTQQ) and/or that would be somehow relevant to queer youth (ages 13-22).  As queer youth are disproportionately impacted by substance abuse, suicide, homelessness, etc., zines related to these issues or promoting self care, etc are very welcome.  It would especially be great to have zines created by queer youth...  Just sayin!

Please feel free to get in touch if you're interested in donating or if you have any questions.

I am opening up a zine distro/library out of Brunswick Maine (not too far from Portland). Do you want your zines read? I would love to spread the love in my area! You can choose whether you want it to a part of our permanent library, or sold (consignment style). Either way we would love to have you!

Submissions are %100 open right now, accepting all zines appropriate!

- They are in English/or translated in English (but I am very willing to make exceptions)

-They are NOT, BY ANY MEANS homophobic, misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, etc...

Email me with 'zines' in the subject line if you are interested. Please include your Zine(s) name(s), Your name, a way I can contact you, and a short synopsis of your zine.

Hi everyone,

I'm a volunteer from the Canny Little Library (http://cannylittlelibrary.tumblr.com) in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Quick intro about us:

We are a small volunteer run radical book and zine library which is housed within the Star and Shadow cinema (http://www.starandshadow.org.uk) and have had our doors open on Sundays 3-7pm to the public for the past 11 months. We stock books in History, Politics, Gender, Anarchism, Art, Feminism, DIY, Global Struggles, Cookery, Race & Racism, LGBT/ Queer, Health and more.

I joined the library as a volunteer this year with hopes to help stock up our zine collection (which is a little bit sparse atm) with more radical, DIY, feminist, queer, mental health and alternative zines. I'm a big (geeky) fan of the zine scene and have been collecting zines myself for the past couple of years... so thought this would be a good place to start in asking people if they'd like to donate a zine or two for our library.

If your interested and would like to donate a zine, please contact us to let us know what you'd like to offer :) We haven't got much space in the library, this is our tiny space: http://tinyurl.com/3tzghhf - so would like to get a a broad range of zines on the subjects I mentioned above :)

we're a zine distro from Singapore and are looking for new zines to add to our catalog. we also are collecting zines for archiving and are planning to start a library. we are interested in queer/sexuality issues, gender issues, art zines, perzines and comics, and we distribute mainly at punk shows, pride events and other events that may interest us. there isnt very much of a zine culture here so we are hoping to bring in a more diverse range of zines/perspectives so more people might take an interest in zines. if you have a distro/zine and you'd like to donate/recommend, please contact us!

Hiya! If you're interested in adding zines to the VCU Libraries' Special Collections & Archives zine collection, send me a message. We're always interested in older zines, especially if they tie into Riot Grrrl and other movements. In contemporary zines, we primarily collect art zines, mini-comics, fanzines, personal zines (especially those related to women, LGBT, and other minority groups), and of course zines related to the Richmond VA area. But we also have a variety of literary, political, and international zines. We're kind of all over the map, but we do like zines that semi-relate to our other departmental collections (Book Art, Comic Book, Women and LGBT manuscript collections etc). If you have any questions, send me a message. Thanks!

Zines for review on my blog (www.zinereviews.blogspot.com) or my paper zine or my radio show are welcomed. 36 West Main Warner NH 03278. I review the vast majority of publications I receive unless I really can not relate to it!

You can donate at our store! We're getting a zine (and book) library going, hopefully to open in July. It's going to be great... check out the website at inotherwords.org to see what we're up to.
