Hi everyone,

I'm part of a group of people working to open an infoshop in Cincinnati. If anyone has any zines they would like to donate, we are always open to donations!

We are looking for zines covering a variety of topics, including but not limited to (in no particular order) alternative politics, disability issues, feminism, LGBT/queer, race/racism, DIY, gender, health, and history, including perzines related to these issues.

If you have any donations you'd like to submit, our address is:

SoapBox Books & Zines

1415 Knowlton St.

Cincinnati, OH 45223

You can also find our website at: soapboxbooks.org

Mini Book Exchange is currently looking for zines and especially mini-comix to enter into the exchange program. We send books back to folks who want to send in for trade and distribute to zine libraries that are on our mailing list. We also take subscribers, but mostly we concentrate on getting the word out to zine libraries and similar things.

Normally there's a fee to cover postage for mailing to certain places, but for now (until June) we're accepting things for free. If you'd like to send us a couple of books to be added (and advertise yourself) send to:

Hey everyone!  I work with a queer youth drop-in center and advocacy organization here in Vermont.  I'm going to be doing an ongoing zine group and was hoping for some donations to our zine library for youth to read and be inspired by.  I'm specifically looking for zines by queers (LGBTQQ) and/or that would be somehow relevant to queer youth (ages 13-22).  As queer youth are disproportionately impacted by substance abuse, suicide, homelessness, etc., zines related to these issues or promoting self care, etc are very welcome.  It would especially be great to have zines created by queer youth...  Just sayin!

Please feel free to get in touch if you're interested in donating or if you have any questions.

I am opening up a zine distro/library out of Brunswick Maine (not too far from Portland). Do you want your zines read? I would love to spread the love in my area! You can choose whether you want it to a part of our permanent library, or sold (consignment style). Either way we would love to have you!

Submissions are %100 open right now, accepting all zines appropriate!

- They are in English/or translated in English (but I am very willing to make exceptions)

-They are NOT, BY ANY MEANS homophobic, misogynistic, racist, xenophobic, etc...

Email me with 'zines' in the subject line if you are interested. Please include your Zine(s) name(s), Your name, a way I can contact you, and a short synopsis of your zine.
