Well, I haven't actually made zines yet, but I'm excited about connecting!

My zine isn't like focused on my hometown (seattle) but i mention it and there are stories about being in it a lot. does that count?

I think it counts.  It helps people feel connected.  Like I'm always wondering what it's like to live in a big crowded busy city, and it helps to feel less disconnected when I read even little snippits about the reality.

I agree, I like reading zines about small towns specifically, because that's where I'm from.. The problems are always so much more intimate in those types of zines...
