Me and my brother have just made a collaborative zine, 'Ok Werner' about our favourite filmmaker, Werner Herzog. The zine was made over a period of 4 days in late July 2012 at Jean's house in Yorkshire on a self appointed 'Herzog holiday' and contains our personal and collaborative responses to Herzog and his films via interviews, quotes, images and writing.

The zine is 24 pages, A5, with two colour pages (including the cover), the remaining pages printed in black and white.

You can get it here! http://jeanieszines.bigcartel.com/product/ok-werner

For anyone near Dublin.....I think there's still stalls left for the Dublin Zine fair!  11th and 12th August.

Finally, Here. In My Head #10: The University Years, is out now!

£1.20 UK / $2.00 International

It’s 40 pages, half-sized, with a thick paper cover tied together with a pretty ribbon!

Inside, I write about living away from home, academia, making friends, the Student’s Union, and graduation.  It’s mostly a collection of stories about my experiences, but there’s also some practical advice for students and would-be students, and lots of lists.

Info on how to buy or trade a copy can be found at http://blatantblithe.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/here-in-my-head-10-no....

Hi guys!

If any of you are going to Blissfields festival, there will be an all new art tent this year, featuring artists and designers from Winchester School of Art.

I will be there with a zine stall and there has been talk of a few others contributing.

Looks to be a good time for all at one of the South of Englands best emerging festivals!
For more info, see the Blissfields website.

To see the kind of thing I'll be selling, check out Folksy.

Hope to see you there!

come along and learn about the wonderful world of zine making & self publishing. zinesters tukru (your pretty face is going straight to hell) and emma (fanzine ynfytyn) will give you a lowdown on zine making, answer your questions and help you make your own mini zine and/or a workshop compilation zine!
they will also read from their zines + some of their personal favourites.

ONLY LIMITED SPACE. PLEASE BOOK YOUR PLACE IN ADVANCE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT AT = http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/3389138003

zine reading will be free to attend, but the workshop has a sliding scale of £2 - £5 suggested donation ON THE DAY for materials + space hire, however booking a space is free.

unfortunately the space isn't currently wheelchair accessible, but if you have accessibility needs and are interest please let us know and we'll see if we can arrange an accessible place for the next workshop (if there is one)

visit www.medwayzines.tumblr.com for more info!
