We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

I've just bought a zine online and the author is asking for feedback. The problem is, I think the zine is not very good. Most of the zine is line drawings. There are three pages to colour in (!) I'm a zine novice (I only have four so far) but this isn't what I expected from the online description.

Well, I'd day you should either potter about getting hold of more zines to see if the description was totally out of character, or if maybe you just have different expectations. That or just tell the zinester that you didn't get what you expected from the way it was describe donline. So long as it's constructive - and considering it was solicited - they can hardly take offence.
I guess be honest but diplomatic - say it's not what you were expecting from the online description and you're not that keen on it at the moment, that you expected more content (or whatever it is you thought you were getting).
