I'm running a zine table at 'A Fashionable A'Fayre' tomorrow - a new indie & craft mini market at LePub, Newport. Open from 12-5 with a DJ, open bar, vegan cookies from Mixed Up Mongrel and vintage & handmade goodies from Tinker's Infinity, Dirty Goods, Motel and many more. Free entry!

Hey, Last Hours just published our first two books! One is a collection of Morgenmuffel comix zine (www.lasthours.org.uk/morgenmuffel), the other a collection of small-press comix against the police called Excessive Force (www.lasthours.org.uk/excessive-force), I think some people here might be interested in them!!

Southampton's first (feel free to correct me on this one) zine and craft fair. 12-5pm both Saturday and Sunday, 21st/22nd November at the Art House, Southampton 178 Above Bar Street SO14 7DW.

Check here for more information.
Stalls and workshops, with crafts varying greatly between the two days and most zine stalls having a stall for the whole weekend.
Plus, as always, the Art House will be serving their super scrumptious (vegan) cakes and lunch.

E-MAIL CRAFT@THEARTHOUSESOUTHAMPTON.CO.UK IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HELPING OUT ON THE DAY OR PLANNING THE ONE FOR 2010.
ALSO, it might be possible to have a stall for one-off zines. Please contact me if you want to have an odd zine on the stall so we could work out posting, pricing, etc. It might be too much hassle, but I'm willing to talk about it.

Lend us a hand:
I started up www.zinery.co.uk this afternoon as a guide to zine stuff in the UK, it's still half built. There's going to be interviews with zinesters, some tips and tricks for making zines, but the most important thing is the regional guide. Of course I can't fill in the sections for all the places, so that's where I need your help.

Here's the page, there's a form to fill in with your tips, and I'd really appreciate it if people would fill in info, especially for places outside London and Kent & Sussex

Hi, apologies for the cross posting but just in case any of you hadn't seen, there is going to be a really great zine related club night in Camden, London on Saturday 17th. Lots of great music, like minded souls, zines and cupcakes, and super cheap too!

The wonderful Laura Paisley & Lydia Harris will be selecting the tunes for your dancing shoes, and you get a free cupcake on arrival. We are also having a zine stall for all your zine-y needs :)

Lots more info here: Girl Germs - Camden

Hello all,
I don't want to cross-post this too much but wanted to let you know I've just launched a little zine distro called Zinemonger, which only stocks free zines. All you do is browse the website http://zinemonger.blogspot.com , choose zines up to a weight of 90 grammes and supply the postage, either by sending a self-addressed envelope with a 47p large letter stamp, or by sending me the cost of postage by Paypal if you live overseas. Realistically it'll probably work easier for UK users. Full instructions are on the site. Please read them carefully as this will save time for all of us. Have fun!
Cheers,
Ed
