Heey all-

I'm staying in the pittsburgh area for most of summer because of a job I got up here. If anyone knows of zine events taking place this summer 'speak now or forever hold your peace..' kidding but yeah, any zinesters that wanna meet up and talk zines over coffee or what not that'd be cool too.

Just email me @ staircasewitzine@gmail.com
- Laura Lane. later!

Ugh. Somehow missed that Dave Roche was coming to Cyberpunk!Good thing I joined this group! (Hi artnoose.)

HI all. I'm the zine librarian at the Carnegie Library in Oakland. Wanted to let you know that Moe Bowstern from XtraTuf is going to be reading at the library this Sunday the 28th from 4-5pm. She's great, her stories are great, and her reading style is also - great.

Hello zinesters! I'm new to making zines and would love to get better acquainted with the local community. I've signed up for the Pgh Zine Fest...so I'm sure I'll see some of yinz there!

Also, if yinz haven't heard, the Pgh Zine Fest will by Thursday Sept. 1 at AIR. It's $10 to vend.

And if you visit the Cyberpunk Apocalypse (which you totally should) swing down the block about 300 feet to visit with another Pittsburgh zinester.

Hey everyone, if anyone is still out there, my house--- the Cyberpunk Apocalypse--- has a visiting writer residency program where we host a different writer in our guest room while they focus on one of their projects. If you have a writer friend (zine or not) in another place who might want to come to Pittsburgh for a month, have them check out cyberpunkapocalypse.com for more info on the residency and how to apply.
