For me, be a skinhead is a mix of a lot of cultures, from rude boys from Jamaica (gives a lot of influence of Briths cultures, like Madness, The Clash) even to hardcore kids form NYC. Roger Miret have too much influence from briths punk rock in his own words.

I live in Brazil, so for me im mix a traditional concept with my local identity. Long live Punk rock!

I was reading about the original Skinhead movement of the 1950's born in Britian and the comparison to the American Skinheads varies quite differently of those from the old English movement. It was an interesting read to me. Here's a little of what it spoke of. Read below!

The hardcore skinhead style that originated in the United States 1980s hardcore punk scene is also less strict than that of the first generation of skinheads from the English Brits. Here is another interesting article and perspective on how things do evolve and take on new shapes with each generation and culture.
