The “Subway Supplement” was originally intended for subway readers. But don’t let the name mislead you. It is a collection of ten insightful and tightly written essays by Michael Parish and ten vibrant illustrations by Dan Tarnowski. In addition to full-color front and back cover artwork, there is also a never-before-seen centerfold pull out poster for that empty spot on the wall above your bed.

Find it at onlives.net

This went to press last night (around 3AM-ish--sheesh).

Should be out in a couple weeks, perhaps sooner.

A Fistful of Buttons is a collaborative effort between a fair few year 11 students, put together by myself and a kid called Tristram.
Basically, we accept almost anything from them and make it work.
What we end up with is a really insteresting mix of things moving from stories about drug addiction to comics about cartoon juiceboxes, that all seems to flow together in the end.
We post all our issues up on the net once we print them so check out http://www.fistfulofbuttons.blogspot.com/

I make a zine called Comparisons Between Humans & Robots, another called Everything was Beautiful & Nothing Hurt, Notes & Errata and a bunch of others. I'm from Sydney. I run my own zine distro. www.zines.wordpress.com. My housemate made me realise last night that my zines don't fulfill a purpose - more than enjoyment on mine and others part. They don't teach you how to do something or inflict political views on others. So I think my next zine will be a how to guide to something... something more fulfilling, I don't know how it'll go!
