so like if you guys have any anecdotes or comments or doodles or just anything about your experience in highschool that you think would be great for the zine I would love your input.

Hello! I'm starting an online alternative zine aimed at teenage girls, but of course you do not have to like alternative culture, be a girl, or be a teenager in order to like the zine! All types of content with a feminist perspecitve(meaning non-degrading) is welcomed! Articles(writing), poetry, art, rants, etc. is accepted daily! You can also apply for the team, which is the groups of writers/artists/poets/etc. who submit their content on a weekly/monthly basis, and gain great exposure for their work, while helping make the zine the best that it can be! The zine is Spud Zine, which can be found on spudzine.tumblr.com  !!!!!! Be sure to send me a message via tumblr or send content at rockogirl@hellokitty.com

Thank you!!!

Submission Guidelines for issue #4 of my fanzine Muchacha

Theme: “Who Says Feminists Don’t Have A Sense Of Humor?”

The purpose of this issue is to combat the stereotype that feminists are always angry/unfunny/too serious/uptight. I’m looking for satirical/humorous thoughts, poetry, stories, essays, quotes, rants, analysis, art, collages, doodles, comics, or photography from a feminist perspective. Whether it’s half a page or 4 pages, e-mail me at Riotgrrrl56@yahoo.com to submit your work. The deadline is September 1st. Help me in reclaiming the fact that “funny feminist” is not an oxymoron.

Funny Feminists Unite!

"Feminist humor raises consciousness. And the reason it's funny is because it stands something on its head. Goodness knows you've got to have a sense of humor if you do feminism full-time, I tell you." - Eleanor Smeal

Issue three is the newest issue of Cadillac Girl zine. It is about how my life has changed in the past six years since the last time I published Cadillac Girl; being a mother, a wife, and finding myself again. My zine includes writing and artwork from outside contributors/fans/readers. I should be hitting the copier up on Thursday so I can get some copies out. I also submitted it to a few distros, so hopefully it will get picked up. Check out the website http://cadillacgirlzine.webs.com

The first issue of my zine The Woman Question is currently on sale at Bluestockings, OR I can mail you a copy! The zine is about applying feminist theory to history, the media, and beauty ideals and is very influenced by Riot Grrrl. The issue talks about the flaws of TV shows Girls/ Sex and the City, beauty ideals within certain minority communities and how they intersect, how to cope with body image issues as a feminist, how intersectionality is the coolest thing ever, how Frida Kahlo is a feminist and womanist, and much much more! Email me at glika074@newschool.edu if you want to trade zines or want a free copy sent to you!

Hello! This is a zine my Dad Andy Roberts made in 2005. He was part of the Riot Grrrl scene with his band Linus in the 90's, so I thought maybe you guys would appreciate some of the content-

I made a facebook page for something I want grrrls to contribute to, and hopefully encourage more people to make riot grrrl zines or other forms of media from. Ideally people can email things they'd like to share, art, music, writing whatever and it will get posted on the page for inspiring this. If anyone is interested in helping me with this project that'd be great too. Also I'm planning on working on a zine with my friends called "recipe for a riot: a riot grrrl revival zine" and would like to get other people's art and writings in that too. https://www.facebook.com/RiotGrrrlRevival
