Since July 2005 I've had a project I call "Haiku a Day", where I ... wait for it ... write a haiku a day (caveat: I'm aware there's more to haiku than 5-7-5, but amongst other reasons I'm really drawn to trying to communicate an idea in a small number of syllables).

Once a month I bundle them up into a zine and mail them out, mostly to friends. I pretty much just give them away --- you can go to http://kula.tproa.net/had/ and download them and print them out if you want, but of course, that's no fun. I love mailing them out, and will do it for a trade of anything creative, be it a zine you've done, or a postcard, whatever. Details at the website.

Ok, so as per my own request, here are the poetry based zines that I have available for sale or trade:

A Few Words--a shortish collection of my poems, the first that I self published about four years ago--$1

August in Harveyville--a much longer collection of my poems and writing about my experiences while spending a month in residence at a rural retreat for writers and artists--$2

The Best of Poet-in-the-Box--a short collection of poems that I wrote on demand as my alter ego while sitting in a cardboard box (really!)--$1

I enjoy trading (not just for zines but also for other cool things like cookies and stickers and patches or artsy/crafty kind of items) and money works too.

i have a poetry zine that i'm really trying to get rid of, because i made too many of them.

if anybody would like to keep me from burning them, hit me up, and we'll work out a sale/trade! (i prefer trade, but sale is good, because i'm unemployed)

Hey everyone!

It would be really cool if we could list the poetry zines that we have available for sale or trade, or if we direct people to our online shops or whatever.

I am really interested in seeing what other folks have to offer. I want to read more poetry by other zinesters.
