The second issue of my low-brow, no-hoper poetry zine is out. Expect tales of burnt-out admin assistants and bad dancers:

Too Obscene is a zine of poetry and flash fiction deemed "too obscene" for publication by other zines, lit mags, and presses.

I have some copies of Vapour Trails #1. It’s $2 if you’re in Montreal, $3 if you’re not. Definitely down for trades. You can message me here or e-mail vapour.trails.zine@gmail.com and we can figure out the stuff.
Here’s the intro:

“Issue #1 of Vapour Trails was written between the years 2009 & 2011, during the dying & death of an eight year long romantic relationship. Considering the backdrop for a lot of this writing, themes that crop up tend to revolve around loneliness, loss, nostalgia, awakening, and various introspections."

Includes some poetry and poetic-type rants, lots of drawings, lots of emotions.

Nostrovia! Poetry is an independent press started by Jeremiah Walton his Junior year of high school in 2011.  The mission hurdling this press forwards is to bring poetry to the youth, Jeremiah's generation, who negatively stereotype poetry.

Too Obscene isNostrovia! Poetry's next publishing adventure.  Too Obscene is a zine seeking poetry and flash fiction deemed "too obscene" by other presses and publishers.  This does not mean the more times you say "fuck" in your poem, the more likely it is we'll publish you.  No, poetry and flash fiction with literary merit is being sought.  This zine was inspired by the trials centering around Allen Ginsberg's poem Howl.

You can read the submission guidelines at Nostrovia! Poetry.  Submission entry is free.  Come check it out!  Cheers!
