Just two pages inside but each zine cover will be different and hand illustrated by me. I prefer to trade for zines and/or stamps or other items. Please contact me on my page here of "Eric N. Comment by Jessica Gleason on July 5, 2012 at 3:24pm Dear Labrinthians,
We are writing to inform you that Issue #001 is now live on the site. It will remain live until August 5th, 2012. Then, it will remain in our archives, indefinitely. There is a link at the very bottom of this month's issue for you to download the .pdf version of Issue #001.
This also means that the reading period for "the in-between" and Issue #002 is now open. So, send us your work! Issue #002 will not be published until September 5th, but during the month of August we will publish and "feature" one poem every other day. So, by submitting during the reading period, you are consenting to be considered for both "the in-between" and "Issue #002". If you would only like to be considered for one of these things, please specify in your submission.
Thanks!

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: ASUANG by PAPER MONSTER PRESS
Asuang is an umbrella term for creatures that people our imagination. As blood suckers, they engender in us, a fear of the dark, of morbidity, of paleness, of incense. The fear that desires, the fear that suffocates, not just creatures but open spaces and high places. Fear of beings that when looked at mirrors or through other eyes, resemble perhaps, ourselves? Then here maybe, there be monsters?
Asuang then calls not just for darkness but for hallucinogen, psychedelia, kaleidoscopic narratives in whatever genre.
Specifically, we ask for:

2. 1-3 artworks in black/ white (in JPEG format)

Comment by Jess Dykstra on January 2, 2012 at 10:28pm Hi guys! Jess here, from Electric Windmill Press (we do poetry books & chapbooks and a literary & arts zine!) to let you know we have a New Year's promotion going at the moment where a donation of ANY amount gets you an e-book copy of Brian Le Lay's full-length poetry book, "Don't Bury Me in New Jersey" 40 poems, 98 pages, 6in x 9in. You can read the e-book on your computer, smartphone, ipod or ipad, e-reader, or even print out a hard copy.
Read excerpts of the book here: http://electricwindmillpress.com/dbminj.html
Donate any amount and get your e-book here: http://electricwindmillpress.com/donate.html Send us fifty cents, $1, $5. Anything goes!! We just want to share some great poems. If you enjoy honest, confessional, hard-hitting poetry, these poems are for you. There's also quite a bit of humor, and overall, I found the book to be incredibly thought-provoking and refreshing. It's hard for me to believe this is Brian's first book and I couldn't be prouder of what he's done here.
Also, just in case you are interested in the print edition of the book (6x9inches, perfect bound): Go HERE and use the coupon code ONEMORETHING at checkout for a total of $7.65+shipping until January 6th at 11:59pm PST.
