I can't wait for Wiseblood #60. Hey Fishspit, my zine isn't quite ready for trade yet, but I will gladly give to the cause for an issue of Wiseblood. Contact me at my page.

Wiseblood # 60 is out!  It's the "Our Eyes is wide open but there ain't nobody home issue!"

Its got punk rock, violence, feminism, racism, uppity women, volkswagons, and just about everything you want in a zine!  Always free for the asking.

Write Fishspit c/0 1304 175th Pl. NE, Bellevue, WA, USofA.

Trades are delightful!  I always read trades with care and will respond if you want me to.  So satisfy the thug in ya!  Read Wiseblood!

NEW YORK CITY FEMINIST ZINE FEST 2014

Do you like zines? How about feminism? Because second annual NYC Feminist Zine Fest is coming up! Mark your calenders for March 1st, 2014 from 1-6pm. This time we will be at Barnard College in uptown Manhattan, 3009 Broadway in the James Room on the 4th floor of Barnard Hall. The space is handicap accessible.

We will be opening the call for tablers very soon, so if you’re a zinester or artist interested in sharing your work, keep an eye on our website (http://feministzinefestnyc.wordpress.com/) for updates. We also need volunteers to help the day run smoothly so if you think that sounds like you (or you have questions in general), email us at feministzinefestnyc@gmail.com! RSVP to the WMZ event here!

Where is everybody?

This site is pretty dead, lately.

The Latest issue of the Ken Chronicles is finished (#30, Feb., 2014) and ready for mailing. It's digest-size, 24-pages, and contains a piece on choosing a portable iPod speaker dock; some memories of past jobs I suffered through; a trip to Baltimore/Annapolis; some reviews of zines, a book and film; lots of photos; and some random thoughts. On its way to my regular trading partners and available for $3, postpaid, to the USA; always interested in trades (what have you got?).

Hey, all. Late last year I made a zine called The Best Friend I Never Met. It's thirty-odd pages of excerpts from around eight years' worth of letters from a former pen pal. She wrote beautiful, funny, tragic things, and when we lost touch it broke my heart. Laura-Marie of Laura-Marie’s Zine Reviews said of it, “I felt blown away by the beauty of the writing, all those feelings, and so much physical distance with emotional intimacy,” while the lovely Cath Elms of Spill the Zines said, “I feel this zine will be kept close to hand whenever I want to drift off somewhere for inspiration.” For further images/details, see my Etsy shop. You can buy it there - or just message me regarding trades. Thanks! - Emma
