Where is everybody?

This site is pretty dead, lately.

The Latest issue of the Ken Chronicles is finished (#30, Feb., 2014) and ready for mailing. It's digest-size, 24-pages, and contains a piece on choosing a portable iPod speaker dock; some memories of past jobs I suffered through; a trip to Baltimore/Annapolis; some reviews of zines, a book and film; lots of photos; and some random thoughts. On its way to my regular trading partners and available for $3, postpaid, to the USA; always interested in trades (what have you got?).

Hey, all. Late last year I made a zine called The Best Friend I Never Met. It's thirty-odd pages of excerpts from around eight years' worth of letters from a former pen pal. She wrote beautiful, funny, tragic things, and when we lost touch it broke my heart. Laura-Marie of Laura-Marie’s Zine Reviews said of it, “I felt blown away by the beauty of the writing, all those feelings, and so much physical distance with emotional intimacy,” while the lovely Cath Elms of Spill the Zines said, “I feel this zine will be kept close to hand whenever I want to drift off somewhere for inspiration.” For further images/details, see my Etsy shop. You can buy it there - or just message me regarding trades. Thanks! - Emma
