I'm Not Who I Used To Be: short reflection on human connection/how it works/when it fails (specifically queer in this case)

You can download it free here: https://gum.co/yKBwY (also a link to print copies there if you're interested!)

Enjoy and I'd love any reactions/feedaback/etc!

rusty razor split zine.  40 pages.  first 20 by r.d. honteveros about his experiences in new folsom for 20 years . . . his prison rights movement . . . knowing he'll never get out of prison.  next 20 paged by fishspit about mental illness.

5 bucks.  sorry . . . i have no money to make these up and it costs a lot at 40 pages.  but i sell it for less than it costs.

the Ken Chronicles #38 (Feb, 2016 issue) is nearly ready for mailing to my subscribers & regular trading partners. Digest-sized with 24 pages (plus cover wrap) and lots of photos, this one has lots of travel-related stories (to Montauk, Newport, NYC, Connecticut & Maine), reviews of an off-Broadway play, music, books & zines, plus some oddities and LOCs. Available to USA for $3 or possible trade (what have you got?)

Hello Perzine Writers,

I am doing a study on zine libraries and am conducting a survey to assess zine writers’ comfort levels with having their zines collected and circulated in zine libraries and archives in the US. I am both a librarian and a zine writer, and I believe it’s important for zine librarians to have a sense of how the zine community feels about having their works in zine libraries, and what (if any) factors might increase or decrease comfort levels. The survey is completely anonymous and will not collect any identifying information about participants. Ultimately, the results of the survey may be presented at an academic conference to librarians, and/or published in an academic journal.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Here is the link to the survey:

(And also, you can look me up in We Make Zines; I create Alex the Zine.)

Thank you,

Anne Hays,

Instruction Librarian

Hey! the latest issue of my Ken Chronicles (#37, November, 2015) is out & on its way to my subscribers and regular traders. Available to all for $3 (postpaid to the USA) or possible trade (what have you got?). This one deals with thoughts on life & death, good & evil; also some book, film & zine reviews, as well as some random topics and oddities.

Hi peeps, I'm up for a perzine trade or two!

Here's mine - a touring queer punk's perzine meets introduction to incredible musicians from across the globe - all framed with personal stories of how we met and adventures we've had together (stories and people from UK, France, Germany, Poland, Austria and USA) -

Shout me and let's trade :)
