Other People's Shit, a rant.

Out of print, now available to view on issuu

A zine exploring themes of human connection + the lack thereof, and all the trials and tribulations of living a life that's indissociable from the lives of our personas, stream-of-consciousness style.

Soon Enough This Will All Feel Very Far Away ZINE and Dreamscapes the DEBUT ALBUM by yours truly! Take a trip into the past several years of my life through words and music. I've been piecing together this music for some time now — so if you're into jazz-infused, soulful yet spacey instrumentals PLEASE drop me a message. Also, features conversation snippets with home-bums and lovers I've had the pleasure to call friends in my time spent hitch-hiking the United States. "Soon Enough.." zine offers a complimentary narrative, introducing you to the wonderful people who have inspired me so. UP FOR TRADE or $5 for both!

You can download it free here: https://gum.co/yKBwY (also a link to print copies there if you're interested!)

rusty razor split zine.  40 pages.  first 20 by r.d. honteveros about his experiences in new folsom for 20 years . . . his prison rights movement . . . knowing he'll never get out of prison.  next 20 paged by fishspit about mental illness.

5 bucks.  sorry . . . i have no money to make these up and it costs a lot at 40 pages.  but i sell it for less than it costs.

Hello Perzine Writers,

I am doing a study on zine libraries and am conducting a survey to assess zine writers’ comfort levels with having their zines collected and circulated in zine libraries and archives in the US. I am both a librarian and a zine writer, and I believe it’s important for zine librarians to have a sense of how the zine community feels about having their works in zine libraries, and what (if any) factors might increase or decrease comfort levels. The survey is completely anonymous and will not collect any identifying information about participants. Ultimately, the results of the survey may be presented at an academic conference to librarians, and/or published in an academic journal.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.

Here is the link to the survey:

(And also, you can look me up in We Make Zines; I create Alex the Zine.)

Thank you,

Anne Hays,

Instruction Librarian
