What Makes a Good Perzine?

I'm embarking on my first perzine, and while I know most of the content already, I'm curious about what makes a 'good' perzine to others. I know what I like, but what are other people after in the ones they read?

 

For instance, I like 'short snippets of daily life' type of stories. I also love lists. :)

I like opinionated perzine writing, and interesting layouts that also showcase the personality of the maker.

I think a good perzine is writing about your unique experiences.  I love ordinary details and line drawings.  I love short vignettes, little stories that emphasize the strange/odd.  I love travel stories that find the details natives take for granted.  I hope this helps!

I think everyone has a unique life and different perspectives and when you bring those to the page, the things that make your life uniquely yours, that's what makes me love a zine.
