New issue of my zine Telegram Ma'am, a split with Tukru's zine, Your Pretty Face Is Going Straight to Hell!

Telegram Ma'am #18 is a love letter to my bike, a beautiful vintage cruiser. There are notes on anxiety and depression as well, being a weird girl in a small town, going to zine gatherings, and adventures with my local friends. I write about learning how to ride my bike again after the snow melted, late-night bike rides, hanging out at the library, and challenging myself to communicate more assertively.

Your Pretty Face Is Going Straight to Hell #9 is about long-distance friendship and meeting people over the internet in real life, loneliness, and a desire to make more friends or have better relationships with her current friends. Tukru writes about spending time with her family, turning twenty-seven and feeling like an emotional mess on birthdays, playing with her new Blythe doll, and mental health.

Quarter-sized, 72 pages (each half is 36 pages; flip one zine over and read the other!)

AVAILABLE HERE! schoolformaps.etsy.com.

Or you can snail mail well-concealed Canadian or U.S. cash to:

*SELECTED TRADES ONLY* Because this zine is super thick, because it costs more to print and costs more to send, etc.

Beautiful Mess #2 is out! This issue features moving away from Calgary and trying to find myself in Montreal, dealing with an identity crisis and venting my frustrations from working in the beauty industry. I talk about learning to love myself after being self destructive for most of my life and looking back on past work, as well as a large piece about my adventure to Burning Man. There is an obituary for my favourite snail, a description of how snakes eat, and a sexy centerfold, plus more!

half size, 40 pages
$3 plus shipping or trade

Culture Slut #19 I guess I would call this something of a "coming out" issue. I write a lot about being queer and how this affects my romantic relationships with dudes, as well as my frustration with the constant assumption that I’m straight. ‘Coz, you know, I’m not. I’ve also included some reviews of excellent queer zines for further reading. Please note, I've written a little bit about abuse, so please keep that in mind and read this zine in a safe space.
Quarter-size, 26 pages, black and white, hand-coloured covers.

Culture Slut #20 This is the latest issue. I write about queerness and (in)visibility, the corporate takeover of Pride, moving from small-town Ontario to Montreal, learning French, riding my bike and being a cat lady. I tell the story of my first period, spread some information about my much-loved menstrual cup and share some more zine reviews with my readers.
Quarter-legal-size, 38 pages, black and white, hand-coloured covers.

Each issue is $2.00 Canada/US and $3.00 International. I also have Culture Slut Superpacks available here. You can purchase these zines at my Etsy shop, Paypal to polaroid.panicATgmail.com or mail well-concealed cash to:

Hey,

Just to let you know, issues #1 and #2 of my feminist perzine, Here. In My Head, are available to buy or trade!

#1 features written pieces about not shaving, the ongoing need for feminism in university, body image, being questioned for writing strong feminist lyrics, and my experiences joining the university's Songwriting Society.

#2 features introspective pieces about my musical and creative development from childhood, anger and betrayal, drunken thoughts on sexist jokes, and insecurities caused by a sexist magazine article.

Message me here if you're interested!
