glad to see some of us old farts in this group - i'm 45, been doing zines since the mid/late 80s - mainly music and movies and i'm slower these days than then but i still have a couple going... weird being online though since there was a time when i had drawers full of correspondence and zines and tapes from people (and viceversa) now its all emails back and forth... :)

I'm so glad for this and to see how many people over 30 are still making zines and reading them!! I'm technically not 30 yet, but I will be in 4 days (so I figured I should count, right?!)
I've been zining since I was 15, so for half my life now and I still love it as much as I did when I started (even tho I don't produce as many zines as I did back then since I have less time due to having two kids, but still, I'm at it!!) I'm hoping to do a zine about my life 15 years ago, how I got into zines and how it changed my life. It just seems so appropriate now since it is half my life! :)

YAYYYYY! I'm 33. I started making zines in 1994. Havent made my very own zine in a while, but i teach zine-making and organize events. I have a 6 year old boy, a full time day job as a copywriter, and am part of a local theater company. I'm busy, but i like it because I am too poor to travel---I would love to visit the zine symposiums and tour around and do fun stuff like i did when i was in my 20's.. but being broke is just different with a kid. So, here I am, making my stationary world fun, and meaningful. I really love working with young people and trying to pay forward the kind of art influences I was lucky enough to have as a teen...

I'm 34 and making zines... The more I do it, the more zines I read and the more I read about zines, the more I want to see people making them. I always wanted one of those little printing presses with rubber letters as a kid - how is it that we lose the desire for that kind of thing? I want to get people excited about expressing themselves and zines are such an awesome way to do that!
