ZINE LIB aka Zine Library was formed in June 2009 and aims to showcase and share creative work in the self-published form. The archive sources work through contacting practitioners and word of mouth. There is no curatorship and we don’t wish to be an arbiter of taste. Zine library is completely inclusive and your contribution is important.

Viewing the archive is impossible as we are still insearch of finding a homebase. Zine Library is non Profit and unable to purchase any work. The Archive works on a donation only basis and is run by self-publishing artist Abdul Dube and I DO ART a small culture production collective in Aarhus - Denmark

I am making a call for contributions to the first zine exhibition in Århus(second largest city in Denmark)
working title now is ZINEs IN JUTLANDIA ---- on the flipside of the exhition i will be hosting
A ZineFactory (((Cut, Copy, Collate: zine construction A fanzine making workshop two day long))) .It is directed at anyone interested in Self/Independant publication slash editorial, Zinefactory happens in conjunction with the Nybyggener(Settlers) experiment and will be held at the Ridehuset(ridershouse) in Århus.
Exhibit runs for a week.and ZINE LIBs collection will be moving into the main library for a new zine exhibition 2011.

I f you would like your zine to feature in this first zine explosion In jutlandia pls send your zine contributions to -----------------

ZINE LIBE c/o Abdul Dube Paludan Müllers vej 211 Aarhus N 8200 Denmark.

All contributors will recieve a copy of The Colaborative Zine produced at the Zinefactory Workshop. As a trade for ur zine.

DEADLINE FOR ENTERIES to the exhibtion is 24 November 2010.

33 although 'still at it' is misleading for me - I only just did my first zine.

Oh well - it's never to late to start!

31 last month ago...
The last time I made a zine was when I was about 11, just cut various pics out of skateboard magazines and scrawled with my berol pens. Feels good to do this one

hello everyone! i made a 24-hour zine last month; actually this was my first zine ever :)

quarter-sized (A6), 32 pages, hand-sewn; inside black&white, each cover is hand-colored with crayons. done in the old cut n' paste style, it's your typical perzine, with short stories of my childhood, typewriters, finding a gray hair, and insects, among other tidbits...

copies of Ladybug #1 available for 1 euro, plus postage (PayPal preferred; but i might accept cash in foreign currency: $1,50 USD/CAD/AUD, or £1 GBP plus postage), or a trade for other zines (*SELECTED TRADES ONLY* for now).
* check this post for details, more pics & info on how to order/trade *
