hi! I'm Katie and I make personal zines about playing music and touring with my scrappy twee band "free cake for every creature". I have photos & descriptions of the zines on my page, and would love to trade 'em!

Hey fellow zinesters!

I write a zine called The MC Press and I have recently self-published my debut novel, Saskatoon Girls! The book is a coming-of-age story about Jake Patterson, a dreamer reluctant to surrender his youth. The book is a philosophical exploration of youth, infidelity, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Much of the book is a reflection on how music, particularly Sixties and Seventies rock, helps Jake Patterson make sense of things.

I am selling it in paperback on my website, TheMCPress.com, for $15 (plus $6 shipping in Canada and the United States, $12 anywhere else in the world).

I would be thrilled if you bought a copy of Saskatoon Girls and I would be happy to sign it for you and leave you a personal message inside.

You can also follow the book on Facebook.

Take care, amigos!

Soo, issue five isn't due out for a while yet, but I still have a few copies of issue four of 'The Screever' left if anyone would like to trade for one. There's a bunch more info and photos on my profile if you'd like to check it out, and feel free to drop me a message if it sounds like your thing. Thanks a lot! :)

Hey music zinesters! Just wanted to let you know the zine I edit, The MC Press, always has some great music reviews and music culture articles in each issue. Here is latest one, featuring an article about moshing and heavy metal, and another piece about little known space-pop musician, Calvin Love. Also, if you like what you read, please Like us on Facebook. Enjoy.
