Scanning in images today for my zine for the swap. I'm calling it "The Sketchbook Adventures of Emmeline Stronach". Hope to be done by tomorrow (fixing the pictures so they're perfect takes me ages) then I can post them :)

Well tomorrow is the day to send off all of our zines. My wife Midori is proofreading mine one last time before I print and collate all my zines tomorrow. I will be a day late in sending off my zines, as I can't make it to the post office in time tomorrow due to my work schedule, but have no worries, all my zines will be sent out on Saturday! I can't wait to read all your amazing creations! On a side note, if anyone has any ideas about the next swap, start throwing em out so we can prepare early for the next one!

My zine is finished sort of. Actually, there are two variations on a theme, but I've run into technical difficulties. First my printer died, and I wasted a day trying to convince it to spit out just one more page. Okay, I have a plan, I can e-mail the stuff to my hubbie at work and he can print it out there, but wait, no, he isn't at work because it is Christmas. And we had a huge snow storm and my car is still barricaded in the garage by huge piles of snow. We had been shovelling the drive way, but ran out of space for all the extra snow.

Anyway, I have finally managed to get the text part of the zine printed out. The art part was done a while ago, (sent the hubby back to work just so he could make the copies) and now I have to assemble them. Then I'll have to wait for the rest of the snow to melt so I can get my car out, unless I can convince the hubby to go to the post office for me too!

i just stayed up until 8:30 AM finishing my zine for the swap! i forgot i know of a copy trick on campus around here (i just haven't tried it yet)...so if i can get that to work and scrape together enough change to mail stuff, then i'll try to have it out on time or at least closer to the deadline. yay!
