Comment by Bene on March 16, 2012 at 6:31pm Hi, I finally did an english version of my mini-zine woodchuck #1 from last summer (issue #2 is in the making).I like to call it "outdoor zine", because I usually spread it in the streets, parks and woods of my hometown, hiding it in hollow trees, under rocks and park benches(I check from time to time and "restock" if necessary).
It's about music (Kylesa, Les Savy Fav, Blue Note/Swing Kids,...), how not getting completly consumed and fucked up by your jobs and the mysteriously revolutionary organisation called The Red Squirrel Friends (and how you become a member...), which is also the official organ of that secret organisation;)
If you you are interested and like to swap, just put a note in my inbox!
Here in Newcastle upon Tyne, there's a mini comics day taking place on the 21st April at the city library. I can't stay for it, so I will be making my mini comic - style - zine as I travel to another country that day. But I want to feel I am still taking part, so :
I am arranging for any other minicomic-makers at the Newcastle event to post me their mini comic, and I will post my minicomiczine back to them from Malta. All will be made on that day, and if you too would like a copy of my 21st April travel-ish minicomiczine, just email me your address to oldglen at gmail.com
love

Comment by MOT on January 15, 2012 at 2:10pm @G Grevesy, we, more or less, started along the same lines! *high five*
Comment by G Grevesy on January 15, 2012 at 5:03am So I'm running a mini-zine project amongst my university buddies, known as 'BORED ILLUSTRATION STUDENTS'. Once a week during term time anyone who's bored doodles a picture on a weekly theme in under 5 minutes. No text, just black and white doodles, double-sided mini-zine.
Anyone interested in trading for the first five issues please mail me at ggreves@hotmail.co.uk.
BLACK HOLE BRAINS #4 is out!! The "Soft-Serve Serial Killer" issue! Up for trade or buy a copy on Etsy!
Just remembered: here are some photos of ROUGH MUSICK 1. As before, if anyone wants one (free or trade) please email peter.hoselock@gmail.com
Hi - If anyone is interested in a copy of ROUGH MUSICK 1 'Lovely Amy' (A6 size) or ROUGH MUSICK 2 about Killing The Wren (A7 size with a bonus fold out mini-zine 'CAsTleHCART') please email peter.hoselock@gmail.com. All are free but I would like to trade as I'm new to this & some of these wee zines look great.
