I'm Eric, a zinester/zine librarian from NYC! I'm putting together a zine on traveling and moving and was hoping to get your input as I'd like to have the Midwest represented. Southerner by birth, but moving to Madison, WI in 3 weeks. I'm really nervous about hypothermia & not knowing many folks over there. Biking in the snow is going to be a new experience, I guess...

just saying hello. i grew up in ohio & started my zine life there, organizing the first bowling green zine conference in 1999. then i left, but now i'm back! i just moved to lawrence, kansas a couple of weeks ago. any other kansans here?

Hey everyone,
I grew up in Illinois, lived in Wisconsin for 10 years, and I've lived in both Toledo and Columbus Ohio now for a total of about 10 years. Besides a short stint in the South for higher ed I've lived in the Midwest my whole life. In the 90s I did a zine that was all about the dark underbelly of Wisconsin. Good times, good times.
Is anyone here planning on going to the Midwest Zine Fest? Are there any zine related things in Ohio that anyone knows of?

hey! i'm a michiganian/michigander/michiganeer living in canada and i do a zine called monstress. each issue is organized around a monster and has comics, letters, historical material, movie reviews and homemade pulp fiction. i'm also crazy homesick. midwest is best :)
