Yea, it's one of those places that's easy to find once you've been there. I've been telling people I know to come along. I'm sure the people at CIBwould publicise it, the might not at the Victoria or The Island Bar cos it's at a diferent venue, but well, they *might*, and we can always flyer for it. Also, it'll be one week after Atta Girl which is a very pro-zine night in Brum, so I can get flyers out there.

Okay! Mark your calendars!
8th of May!
2pm again?
In Birmingham at...Flapper and Firkin? Is this an easy to find place?
Does someone want to put up some posters in some zine friendly locations to (gosh) advertise this? I can design some (once all details are confirmed) if needed.

My friend, Carrie. She lives in wolves and works at one of the council galleries. Worth a nosey, I reckon.

I've passed that shop a couple of times; just checked that website and on the blog it says they have one zine called 'Out of Step', but I'm not sure if they're stocking others. Where did you here that Ray?

The Flapper has a large outside area, I don't think alcohol laws are an issue in the 'garden' part. And anyway, if they say anything we can just move to the canal, which is public property.

It's a pity Centenery Square is being violently hacked about at the moment, though :-/

Yeah; if it's sunny though we may not need a 'venue' as such. That would be good :)

Remember, someone who expressed interest in coming is underage, and I'm not really sure about English liquor laws, but an all ages venue would be preferred.
