Yeah, I guess so. I was being slightly sarcastic. Kinda...
Hmm it sounds like it's possible then, at least for someone that knows where they're going. We'll see what happens I guess.
Ray, I'd be more than happy to pay for your transport and all that if you want to go? Plus, that would mean me not getting completely lost and alone in London :)
Petrova is supposed to be going but she seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet...

My route goes to Euston, dunno about yours.

I thought London Midland (ie from Snow Hil)l terminated at Marylebone?
Butif you need to get from Euston to this Rag Factory you wanna take the Northern line south to Moorgate St then change and get the Hammersmith & City Line to Aldgate East. It's a few mins from there : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&q=E1+5LJ&fb...

I would come with you,but I am flat-piss-broke :-/

I know Rachel's going down, and I believe Lizzy is tabling. People just don't post here ; p
London Midlands will bring you to Euston, and then from there you can take the tube to....it looks like Aldgate East is the closest station to the zine symposium. I'd take the Northern Line south from Euston to Moorgate, then the Hammsmith and City line East to Aldgate East. It looks like it's about 5-6 blocks from there to the rag factory.
I'll probably be aiming to be in London by 10ish... so that I can find the place and set up and everything before hand. If you're there about the same time give me a txt.

Righto, so it's looking like out of all of the Midlanders zinesters (except Matt), I'm having to go by myself? Fan-bloody-tastic.
This London Midlands thing; does anyone know if their trains go anywhere near the Rag Factory, because their map just ends at Euston Station, which according to Google Maps is an hour and a half walk away. Handy.
I'm pretty useless with trains and directions and pretty much everything else, so it's looking more and more like I won't be there either :/

I'm not going cos I'm poor. Remember that capitalism holds within it the seeds of its own demise.
also, if I could afford to support the capitalist regime I probably could, but I can't, because of capitalism. go figure.,..

That londonmidland thing is cool. My brother's taking advantage of that deal next Sunday but he doesn't know where he's going yet. ;)

I hadn't posted here in at least a week so I just decided to now.

In other news, I finally have completed content for a zine! I just need to kind of...sort it...neatly...and all that.

I'm tabling and running an artist trading card workshop (you better come!).
London Midlands currently has a deal on: http://www.londonmidland.com/ £10 for a ticket anywhere on their lines.

Man, Ishould work for Mega Train PR or sumthin.

Just thought I'd ask who is going / thinking of going to the London Zine Symposium next Saturday? I figure if a few people from the Midlands are going it might be an idea to go down together maybe? I was thinking of coaching it from Brum if anyone had a similar idea..? Thought I'd post this now as I need time to book my ticket.
